Eden Body Works Summer Product Review!

August 29, 2017

Product Description: Daily conditioning treatment formulated with one of nature's best moisturizers, Coconut Oil, to penetrate and revitalize tresses. Blended with Shea butter to seal in moisture. Sulfate free formula is safe for color treated, chemically treated, curly, or straight hair.

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Polyquaternium-37, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Dicaprylate/Dicaprate, PEG-50 Shea Butter, Glycerin, Cetrimonium Chloride, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Panthenyl Hydroxypropyl Steardimonium Chloride, Sodium PCA, Polyquaternium-7, Fragrance (Parfum), PPG-1 Trideceth-6, Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol

Fragrance: The product smells very strongly of coconuts!!

Texture: It’s not a thick or a runny consistency. I’d say it’s creamy.

My Experience: I really love that aloe vera is the second ingredient to this product because when applying this to my hair, it gives some pretty good curl definition. I like to put this on my hair right after washing my hair. However, I’ve learned that I should wait a bit until my hair is at least damp to apply the product given that the first ingredient is water. Applying this on my hair when it’s wet would only make it even more wet and that would lead to frizz! I also use this product when doing a pineapple hairstyle! When some of my curls may be a little bit on the frizzy side, I revive them with this product. I would like to point out, however, that the hold that this product has on my curls kind of wears off throughout the day. I would recommend this to someone who is looking for hold and curl definition without weighing down your curls and with a medium level hold.

Product Description: Sulfate-free, no suds gentle cleansing conditioner cream for removing residue and build up between regular washings to promote a healthy hair environment for growth.

Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Cetearyl Alcohol, Propanediol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Vegetable Oil, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetrimonium Chloride, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Butylene Glycol, Panthenyl Hydroxypropyl Steardimonium Chloride, Propylene Glycol Dibenzoate, Citric Acid, Fragrance (Parfum), Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol.

Fragrance: Light coconut scent

Texture: Creamy, almost thick consistency even when cleansing their hair in the shower!

My Experience: When in the shower washing my hair, I noticed that this product didn’t really clean my scalp at all. It probably most likely added to a little bit of my product build-up. However, I did notice that this kept my hair moisturized. I would recommend this to someone who has a dry scalp and maybe even dry hair looking for moisture

Thanks for tuning in! I hope you enjoyed!
